Vanguard Resources Corporation (VRC) was incorporated in the state of Delaware in November of 1991. The founder, sole director and shareholder, Ms. Nicole Murray, formed VRC to provide administrative, management and technical services to the Government and commercial clients. VRC is a Small-Disadvantaged-Woman owned business and is certified as such under the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) program with a primary SIC code of 8744, Facilities Support Management Services. Experience
VRC was the first contractor to obtain a facilities support management contract in support of a Naval Bachelor Quarter (BQ) in Point Mugu, California. VRC has since won the follow-on contract which dramatically extended the services provided to the Point Mugu BQ. During this time the Navy performed a study to determine if such contracts would be beneficial to implement Navy wide. After approximately one year it was concluded that facilities support management contracts were beneficial and outsourcing should begin immediately. VRC is the only contractor with over 5 years of experience in this area and is extremely knowledgeable in choosing the proper personnel, training and transition periods.
